On 15 September 2026, Professor Éric Allaire was invited by the French-Lebanese Medical Association (Association Médicale Franco-Libanaise, AMFL) to speak about treatments for erectile dysfunction at a scientific evening in Paris.
A vascular surgeon at Clinique de Genolier in Switzerland, Professor Allaire shared his expertise alongside Dr Christophe Crul. Their presentations offered complementary perspectives: Dr Crul discussed medical assessment and its implications, while Professor Allaire addressed treatment options.
Challenging misconceptions to improve care
The meeting highlighted an essential message: erectile dysfunction should not be dismissed as a purely psychological issue. Investigating its causes and understanding each patient’s circumstances are the starting points for an individual approach to care.

Sharing knowledge with fellow clinicians
For Professor Allaire, sharing knowledge with colleagues is part of a wider commitment: helping healthcare professionals recognise erectile difficulties, encouraging open conversations with patients and raising awareness of treatment options.
Professor Éric Allaire thanks the AMFL for the invitation and for bringing colleagues together for an evening of science, culture and conversation.
